Vexni ("we", "us") provides an AI WhatsApp receptionist, calling and messaging service. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Vexni app or website you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name, email and/or phone number used to sign up or sign in (including Google sign-in, which shares your name, email and profile picture).
- WhatsApp connection — when you link your WhatsApp number, we process your chats, contacts, profile pictures, voice notes, media and call events only to provide the service to you (show your chats in the app, let the AI answer calls, and sync messages across your devices).
- Messages & calls — text, images, documents, voice notes and call recordings/transcripts that pass through the service, stored so you can see your history.
- Usage & device data — app version, basic diagnostics and approximate location (city/country, from your IP) to keep the service secure and working.
How we use your information
- To operate the service: deliver and display your chats, run the AI receptionist, place and receive calls, and sync your data.
- To improve reliability and prevent abuse.
- We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that make Vexni work (for example, cloud hosting, speech/AI processing for the receptionist, and WhatsApp/Meta for messaging and calls), and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time:
- In the app: Settings → Delete account, or
- On the web: vexni.com/delete-account.html
When you delete your account we remove your profile, chats, contacts, media and call history from our active systems. Backups are purged on a rolling cycle.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted transport, access controls) to protect your data. No method is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Children
Vexni is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).
